Time and Motion Study of a Fully Automated Isolate Whole Genome Sequencing (iWGS) Platform for Surveillance of Foodborne Pathogens

In collaboration with Nebraska Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), a time and motion study was performed. We found that the fully automated Clear Dx™ Microbial Surveillance WGS platform improved laboratory efficiency and provided results faster than manual next generation sequencing workflow, thereby enabling optimized epidemiological investigation.
